Adapter for GEN 5 dash cam

    Hello, I'm currently on the waiting list for a GEN 5 Prius.
    I would like to install a third-party rearview mirror dash cam for it.

    Is there any suggestion to which one is good for the GEN 5 Prius, and is there any advice on how to install the back camera?

    I'm thinking to get a Wolfbox G850 with a Dashcam Power Adapter (10-pin Type B shown in the YouTube video below).

    Has anyone tried the adapter, and is this a good combination for GEN 5?

    This is probably late reply and you may have already figured it out.
    I tried to install dash cam with 10 pin adaptor in my 2023 LE.
    It does not have that power supply. Your car needs to have automatic brightness adjustment in the mirror (I think the power supply for mirror is splitter by the adaptor for dash cam).
    So ,
    Does not work for LE. May work for higher model.

    Just install mine and they are working with no issue.
    Have you check and which type of your 10 pin adaptor is?
    It seem type B is the only one will work with 2023 Prius.

    So the correct 10 b type pin will power a dash cam from the vanity light near the rear view mirror? Thank you
