Just charged my new Prius Prime (using supplied 120 vac charger) and for the second time the Toyota app tells me the charging is complete, followed in a couple minutes, “all doors are unlocked”. Then I lock the doors with the app and all is ok again. Apparently this has been an issue with other Toyota PHEVs like the RAV4. Anyone else having this problem? Harry
What is your locking policy set for? When mine was at the default lock-lock, and started charging with the doors unlocked, the app would tell me the doors were locked but they were not. I have found the app to be untrustworthy and often the notifications are delayed significantly or flat out wrong.
Yes, the doors are unlocked. I opened the driver’s door and didn’t have the key with me. Interestingly, the charger plug is not released, expect after I locked and unlocked the doors with the key. It would appear the programming is confused about the door and charging plug functions.

That should be an option in settings on the primes touchscreen. I remember seeing it the first couple days I had the car when I was scrolling through everything and made sure it was on lock. I guess a scenario where you would potentially want it to unlock after a full charge would be if you’re parked in a secure garage in your house and it’s one less step to unlock the car getting in to leave for work just unplug and go... Lol.
I've searched throughthe touch screen and the app (the app basically has nothing except remote lock/unlock and remote start which never works), and I can't figure out how to turn off the auto-unlock at charging complete feature. Halp!
