this website has gone ballistic.

Posts showing up faster, and I made a few successful wiki edits in a row, but now that's back to 500 Internal Server Error. (I don't know if it was really saying 502 before, or it said 500 then too and I misreported it. Definitely 500 now.)

 

Just keeping score: yesterday’s outage was a solid 24 hours.

 

Someday I hope to have time to correct some of the Wikis myself......

Some forums and websites set up an extra server instance hosted separately but in the same domain to handle this sort of thing.

yeah in the other cases where I've seen that technique used, all it really does is show a message that either says "it just broke and nobody knows" or "It's still broken and we know about it and we're working on it."

But I don't know how tough it is to set that up, or really how much benefit it could ultimately provide. How many people are counting on priuschat for uhh, what exactly? I mean it's entertaining and cheaper than a twitter x account...

 

I do find there is a world beyond Priuschat. But so easy to backslide...

 

Wouldn't it have to be one of the U codes?
