    Greetings,

I'm looking for some ideas on installing a fog lights or (accent) daytime running lights in the front plastic bezel on each side of the car. I tried Toyota and they don't seem to have any, I do see them as options on 2020 models. I've seen this done on a 2017 Prius off this forum, but not for the Prius Limited.

    Any help will be appreciated!

I purchased a set of used OEM fog lamps from Japan. (they looked like new) and had them installed at my house by a very experienced local technician. Loved the purchase and the upgrade. They work on the existing steering wheel lighting stalk.

I am interested in this too. Right now, the selection of kits seem to be very limited. Hopefully a wider variety kits that fit the front bezel will become available with time.

They are OEM. Same as the touring models had factory installed.

If I remember correctly the OEM kit uses a modular assy. By any chance did you look it to see if it is possible to change the led/bulb?

No I didn't. I inspected the lights for quality and damage, but did not do any investigation.

I've got a 2019 Toyota Prius Limited and I just ordered the following parts:

    LED Side Lights: 812B047020, 812A047020

    Housing Inserts: 5271347060, 5271247060

    Wire Harness: 8193547060 Qty 2.

Is this all I need for these lights to operate? Local Toyota dealership doesn't seem to know.

    Thanks,

    Mylar

Yes, those are the parts I bought. Install a little tricky tho getting into tight spots. They look great after.

I went ahead and installed BOTH the clearance lights and the fog lights today. I removed the bumper cover to make the job easier. Here are some pics of the job. I still need to buy the steering wheel switch, so for now, the fog lights are inop.

I installed the OEM steering wheel light switch with Fog Lights. When I turn the headlights to on and the fog lights on, I get indication on the dash, but still no fog lights. Is there a part of the wire harness under the dash that needs to be connected for the fog lights to work? Looking for a little advice. Thanks!

did you ever figure out the problem? Im planning on installing mine this weekend. Did you add your own wire harness or (wishful thinking) was there a harness already there?

FYI, my 2021 Limited came with LED Fog & Accent Lights. This is how they look.
