Yeah, ~$12K for a Bolt EV is based on the ~$27K base 1LT MSRP minus max tax credit $7500 and max state incentive $7500. That is the lowest I can potentially get a Bolt right now. But as you know things do not work out as drawn on a paper. For one thing, all Bolt I see in inventories are higher MSRP with loaded options. I am hoping there will be some unsold Bolt at the end of the year when GM stops making new ones, but start making new Equinox EVs for a similar starting price. That's when I should look for a bargain-priced Bolt still left in a dealer's lot with a few thousand off from MSRP. Then, I should be able to find close to ~$12K + tax Bolt to purchase.

Yeah, I think the delivery fee was something like $1000, IIRC. You will definitely save on that if you pick it up at a store, I think.

That's an income-based max incentive if I qualify. No income-based regular state incentive is currently at $1K which was $2k not too long ago. So, the state incentive amount can change rapidly and drastically depending on how and when I apply.

I'm not even sure what that is? TSS... Googling... Toyota Safety Sense... Ok, it's a something about safety. Got it!

    • With no way to connect it to a Tesla (no AUX port, no tape deck, Oh! Maybe I could use an FM dongle).
    • There are plenty of other cars with AM radio. No sense in giving my money to something I'm not in agreement with.
    • Where am I supposed to mount it?

Is it possible? Can longwave radio signal travel from Central Asia to North America around the globe? I thought the shortwave radio signal is the only one that can travel around the globe from the other side of the world due to its property of being reflected off the atmosphere and back to earth surface. Thus allowing the signal to travel the furthest distance around the curved surface of the globe. When I was a kid, I listened to a shortwave radio that on a good day can catch a live broadcasting from Radio Australia.

Not on topic but my hud adjusts correctly up and down, but for the way I sit the edge of the hud just misses my right eye if I move even very slightly to the right. I just want to know if the right edge of the hud display should extend further right. Hud works fine etc but it is a bit annoying to always go slightly left to see with both eyes. I suppose I tend the sit to the right or something but not sure if it is a hud adjustment issue and I need to take it in.

hopefully those california drivers will sell and they will ship them to texas or another state without the huge incentives. I definitely have friends looking for used teslas and the prices are really high here.

This is one of the things I love about incentives. You basically discount new EVs.
In addition, the used car market, for those cars, are also made more affordable.

Of course, as an owner, I would hate it if I bought just before the subsidies.
