What component holds the electronic VIN?

Tombukt2 uses dictation to type out what he says with his voice. This is why there is no punctuation and many grammar issues. It is just the way he communicates. I've gotten used to it and his content is helpful and amusing at times but not really abrasive or dogmatic unlike some others. "Ignore" is a great button. So is "like". some other forums have a "drunk" button or "dislike" and they are used often. There is a LOT of great info on this forum. But also a lot of negative content..(Tesla Hate rages sometimes) But cars a tools IMHO and tools break, some repair broken tools others buy new ones. I enjoy your ability to repair your cars even if it means mixing parts from others. When you sell you can get into trouble for misrepresentation. But if you don't sell and your just keeping your cars on the road....cool? 2nd Gen prius car parts hustling is not exactly a way (I think) people to get rich or make a living..LOL

I believe the member in question simply uses voice to text dictation.

Dictation Example:
even an iPhone is not all that great I have the time message app.
Actual:
(Even on an Iphone its not that great and half the time it messes up.)

(anyone can recognize speech)

...was an ad campaign by an early dictation system for personal computers. Impossible for me to forget.

 

OK. So......if the software in use does NOT have reserved "key words" to effect some formatting, or he is too lazy and rude
to find that out.......he should get some different software.

No matter who does it or why, I am unable to follow past line 3 or so without my eyes getting lost in the maze.
Others have expressed the same sentiment.

If he chooses to ignore those suggestions, then he is doing more damage than good.

That is a mixture of opinion and facts......and while I really don't like to use the "ignore" feature,
It is time that I will for his messes.

You NEED to find a custom car builder in the area who can tell you how to navigate the legal system
where you live and solve this problem once and for all.
There HAS to be a way......but you have to be willing to do exactly what is required.

Why do the numbers all need to match? What's going on I've got tons of Prius parts body parts fenders etc. They can all go on any car I want I own them. The parts that is and any car I buy I'll loan it so I can put any parts I want on any parts here in the driveway right And if I change my heads up display or speedometer or whatever I don't care what it says on it I just need the car to drive I can remember I put it in with $290,000 mi on it and the car has 340.

 

Every door has a VIN also. Are you swapping doors as well, probably not.

 

This is what happens when you have to live around people It is unfortunate buddy I didn't think Colorado was like that too much but I have friends out there but they live in places where they can keep people a little further than arms length away A lot of people can't afford that luxury they're stuck in HOA neighborhoods and all that kind of nonsense.
