By car, that's about 10 miles from me.

    Really odd.

Finding non-Tesla drivers hogging two or more charging lanes is not a good idea.

I was at the local mall CCS-1 station and a Tesla Y was blocking/parked in one of the stalls. A guy and his prom date (I assume by the way they were dressed) eventually came and drove off. Didn’t get ticketed nor reported by the rest of us, but I guess I should have….

The killed driver, who was also armed, was identified. It is still being investigated if the altercation was related to the supercharger stations being nearly full at the time. It is being reported that when the temperatures get cold in places like Denver, very long queues for superchargers arise, as the driving range falls substantially.

While someone might be saying this, it is false.

It may well be true that particular charger had a queue, but that isn’t a rule for all superchargers in cold places. I have never seen a queue at any MN supercharger in cold months.

Even if it was true that is no excuse. What is wrong with people? We have people shot going to the wrong house or at a gas station or a charging station.

Not to make it political but my awful governor (abbot) slashed mental health services. Now he blames this kind of violence on poor mental health. I'm sure that is some of it, but it is also this gun culture war.

Either way it has nothing to do with tesla, other than people with poor mental health drive all sorts of vehicles including teslas. Most people already knew that.

Around here, road rage deaths continue to be mostly from the traditional weapon: motor vehicle.

I might agree with the culture part of your post but not the gun culture part.

Acts like this reflect a disregard for human decency as well as human life. It also shows no ability to control ones emotions or actions.

People need to be responsible for themselves and their actions.

I can't think of anyone who is alive who would not be dealing with some sort of issue in their life - that is part of being a living being. How you deal with it and exert control over yourself and show human decency is a choice - much like people who make a choice to abuse substances rather than face life head on- and deal with it.

Why we tolerate this type of behavior in society probably would be a lengthy thread in itself.

The substances thing is tricky, because we're chemical machines and the substances are chemicals. I've had an easy time because I never started them, but that might not give me much insight into people who've had harder times.

Sometimes the starting is by choice, sometimes it's something else, like a prescription for an original legitimate reason.

Intensive marketing by folks who profit from the substances probably represents something in between. Good on people who don't fall for it, but a lot of people do.

When I got my 07, people with other Prius would wave, and I waved back. Now no way I would drive across country like I used to, absolutely not. Right now I don’t even want to go to the grocery store and I’m not alone.
