    From the EPA roll-down data:
    upload_2023-5-2_6-3-42.png
The smaller the drag force, the less power required. Depending on drivetrain efficiency, weight and power, this can improve acceleration. At cross country speeds, the lower drag forces will travel further per drivetrain efficiency and battery capacity.

    If only I had $154,000, I would buy a 140-mpge Lucid.

That said, my 133-mpge Gen 4 Prius Prime is only second to Lucid among new cars.

You are taking the most extreme case.
Money wise, the RWD Model 3 gets 132 MPGe for its full range (not just the first 25). It’s price is $40k, much lower than the current efficiency king at 140 MPGe.

I don't get the idea of sub-branding. Toyota seems very invested in it in Japan but I don't think the idea has taken elsewhere.

That's just Zero. I believe the new Coke Zero is just Tab.

Didn't work out with Prius. Not crazy about use of Ioniq as one, because the original car was a compelling option. Though without it, Hyundai BEVs would just a number.

Which is where the Beyond Zero sedans will be if the bZ is cut from the name. Note that Toyota.com and their press releases all use bZ4X.

With the same sickening taste as the original Tab?

Tab, the only drink that makes a hangover worse.

I drank it because it was, as I recall, the best tasting sugar-free cola.
And no, Coke Zero now tastes NOTHING like Tab did.

The early sugar free sodas were pretty foul. The later ones are less bad. But next to my laptop is a can of Whole Foods, 365 soda water ... perfect size and taste.

    They wanted repeat customers?

My favorite beverage is 1/3d lemonade and 2/3d unsweet tea. If no lemonade, the most lemon-like soda. No unsweet tea, diet Dr. Pepper or a diet cola.

Shush, I'm trying to start a conspiracy theory.

Really, they probably did it to save a few cents per batch. Like KFC and its chicken breading.

They've made changes through the years. It may have contained all the 11 spices, but amounts were cut to reduce costs. Remember spices can be expensive. Their value is why Columbus and others were looking for new trade routes.

KYC announced a return to the original recipe some time back. Though they are phrasing it like is was just a slipped in QC.
    https://www.bizjournals.com/newyork/news/2016/04/04/kfc-redo-stores-return-to-colonel-chicken-method.html

Sanders was quite vocal about KFC's quality going down after he sold the company. They once sued him for libel, but it was thrown out. The Colonel was selling the recipe to other restaurants while he still had the company. One source says for just a nickel. He also retianed rights to franchising outside of the US.
"The twist comes here: when the Colonel sold up the rights to KFC in the United States, he kept onto the Original Recipe in Canada and held the rights to franchise it around the world until his death. As the new American owners changed the recipes and cut corners, the territories that were still under the jurisdiction of the Colonel kept the old ways."
One of the last chains still using the recipe was in Ireland. Supposedly, they are still selling the breading mix online after closing.

I prefer a supermarket roasted chicken which reduces the fat and buy a quality sauce to go with it. Roll of paper towels too.

The cynic in me always wondered if they introduced their grilled chicken to save money on breading. I mean, yeah, it's healthier and all... But nobody goes to KFC for their health.

On that note, did they bring back the Double Down?

edit: Darn, it was limited time a couple months ago.
