Yeah, I like unique cars, which is what drew me to the Gen 2 back when they were rare, and then the PiP in the light blue as well, since that colour was exclusive to the plug-in, which was rare in itself (especially in Canada, only ~400 sold in 4 years…). :)

Wow only 400? I do recall seeing a PiP in the showroom (Tech package) in that blue. There’s also at least one PiP taxi here. (There might be a second US import because it has the LED DRLs that we didn’t get here).

We got Tideland Pearl (as evident by the name haha). Unfortunately, I didn’t go for the Steel Matte Grey for the EV6. It does look awesome (and makes the car look like a concept car) but matte paint maintenance scared me off (esp with the amount of bird droppings we can get here) so I went with Yacht Blue. I thought it was common (given a lot of the UK cars were blue) but around here, red is the most common.

Yep, actually the number is 394, according to Wikipedia.

Given that, I have actually seen 2 or 3 other PiPs in the same light blue in the Toronto area over the years, and recently there was a 2013 base model on AutoTrader for the longest time (I think it was a bit overpriced at $13k), but it seems to be gone now, so maybe someone bought it.

The annoying thing with the Canadian PiP is it is stripped down compared to the US model - no HUD was available, nor connectivity / app options. :cautious:

    Anyway, I digress…
