Weird electrical issues can be caused by a failing 12V battery. Some have seen it in the Prius here. Have heard even a faulty ground connection to the 12V system can lead to gremlins.

Or maybe the first owner spilled their coffee in the dash.

Mine has been in QC HOLD in Newark port, vessel arrived 3/6, sticker was generated on 3/8, moved to freight status, then it disappeared from the Toyota inventory page.

Checked with the dealership and was told it is in QC hold. It’s been almost 10 days now… waiting..

Oh yeah, vessel arrived in Newark port -3/7 the sticker gets generated at that point, it moved to freight status and then disappeared from the Toyota inventory search, reached out for the dealer to find it is in QC hold at the port.

Dallas/Fort Worth dealerships were not being very helpful in getting a new '23 Prius. In fact a south Dallas dealership virtually refused to sell me an XLE they said was not pre-sold. Salesman said my trade in was "too good". I should just keep it. I think the truth was that they had some other buyer willing to pay more above msrp than I was.
Anyway, I found a white '23 Prius XLE available in Opelousus, Louisiana. Drove my '21 Prius XLE down from Ft. Worth on Saturday 18 March 2023 and completed the deal. Love it...but I think the larger engine's 60% increase in power is probably going to hurt mpgs a bit more than predicted.
