For those looking something a little bit smaller, Toyota filed trademarks for four new EVs - bZ1C, bZ2C, bZ3C, bZ4C according to CarBuzz. CarBuzz is guessing C stands for coupes because no letter at the end is for sedans as in the Chinese only bZ3 and X suffix is for crossovers, as in bZ4X. Sweet a MR2 or Celica type EV.

Could be crossover like the new Crown, or just car. They don't have to follow the naming conventions they use elsewhere. The first Yaris here was two different models in Japan.

I would love to see a small BEV from Toyota.
I’d give it a test drive without hesitation.

All talk and no action when it comes to Toyota making EVs available outside of China where they're required to do so... Meanwhile I'm seeing new EV cars and trucks on the road in increasing numbers every day (especially Rivian) and not a single one of them is a Toyota. What's more Hyundai/Kia is not only destroying Toyota on Hybrid sales, but they're also pulverizing them on EVs.

If you want to know the truth of how huge this long term fiscal failure is from Toyota, which will likely lead to its demise as a leading auto maker, just pay attention to the actions they take that they don't talk about. For example:

    Do you have source?
From the european market POV there is absolutely no evidence for that claim.

Yea, admittedly... The headline of the article that made me make that claim didn't back it up with data very well now that I look at it again. However, top EV sales in the Netherlands for example has Hyundai/Kia with three electric cars in the top seller list, with only VW having 2 vehicles on that list and all other auto makers only having one... And as expected zero Toyota EV cars: 25% Of New Car Sales Now Electric In The Netherlands! - CleanTechnica

So I'll modify my claim to say new sales numbers are soon going to show it...

In looking at the charts available currently, my claim doesn't hold up.
