Does anyone know the max diameter of either the MG1 or MG2 stator? (Honestly any generation, looking for smallest dia. for a project)
The approximate dimensions for model years 2004 and 2010 are in Tables 2.7 and 2.9, pages 46 and 48, of Burress, T.A., et al., Evaluation of the 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid Synergy Drive System (PDF), ORNL/TM-2010/253, a technical report prepared by Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2011. As explained in the report on page 5, the authors refer to MG1 as the “generator” and MG2 as the “motor.”
