Agree. Toyota statement on either Prius, Prius Prime, or both.

Yikes. I don’t mind an upgrade to tire performance, but hopefully they don’t go crazy with some super low profile tire or odd/rare size. Guess I won’t be able to keep using my 15” Gen 2 alloys as snow rims, as I am doing now with my PiP.

Excited to finally see/hear official details next Wednesday! (y)

Ugh. Hopefully that’s not accurate, and the range increase is more than that… More specifically, it *has* to at least grow by 25% to get over 50km AER on the North American scale so Canadians like you and I can slide into the full $5K federal rebate. ;)

I am sure a price hike will come with the new model, but that would certainly offset it nicely. (y)

If that's the "headlight" heads should roll...

Do you just want your car to look exactly the same as the other 100 million clones on the road?

Cars all look so alike now that it's often I can't even tell what manufacturer it might be.

You've got two shapes - the SUV, designed by a shoe box manufacturer, and the sedan, all designed by the same person, at the same time, in the same place, with slight differences in tail lights.

Hopefully - the rated figure has improved by about 15% with each new generation.

Gasoline needs to NOT be the primary source of energy for our cars - yesterday. No one should ever purchase another car that uses gasoline as its primary source of energy. Ever.

So if one was to buy an EV WHERE does the electricity come from when we plug it in?

We do love our Hybrids but, to be honest, Toyota is about the only brand we trust for Hybrids/EVs at this point. SO many recalls and fires and problems with all the other brands you can't even keep up with it all. And replacement cost of the traction batteries in the other brands...especially Tesla's....OUCH! Ridiculous!!

Depends on where you live, but everywhere is better than petroleum.

    This was yesterday for me:

And that doesn't include the solar on my roof, or on anyone else's roof. It only includes industrial solar. So add something like 50% to the solar bin.

Oh for crying out loud...get off your high horse.

Remember, this is a Prius site...and the gasoline powered Prius will still be viable for quite some time.

Why? This looks okay to you?

    upload_2022-11-9_13-24-17.png

Not really. The Prius is supposed to lead ("to come before") remember?

Pickup trucks, in addition to being the ugliest vehicles ever built, are also the stupidest vehicles ever built. Half an SUV glued to half a dump bed.

The word "change" was confusing to you somehow?

I’m in the camp that your next car should be at least a hybrid, not an ICE.

Nice looking headlight trim lights. Not too unlike our 2016 silver Model S.

Would be curious what they will retail for.
