I don't use Twitter myself. My only experience with Twitter was having to wait behind two homeless individuals viewing pornography on the Twitter Platform in line at the grocery. What a nightmare - and thank goodness I didn't have family with me.

They were talking about the "platform" and what they were viewing.

And to go back to the original notion from the OP, anyone looked at the drop in backlog at Tesla.

Apparently the China backlog has significantly dropped. Some credit to the factory enhancements.

It's intriguing to watch people freak out when Tesla drops 10%, 20% or more - yet fail to check it comparatively against all the other auto manufacturers.

I just assume most of them dislike Tesla for one reason or another. Usually you can dig up evidence reading their past posts

In response to the massive drop in ad revenue and the answer to who will continue buying ads…

    Stock down 51% YTD.

With Elon's recent political Twitter decisions, will Tesla remain as attractive to the environmentally conscious liberals who have been traditional buyers especially now that alternatives are becoming increasingly available?

Q1 of 23 should be interesting.

Only to those who are Greenback Yankee dollar fans … like me.

There is a false narrative about Prius owners, like us. We are accused of being leaf looking, Bambi lovers. Most of us just like to save money driving our efficient cars.

I met Bambi 18 years ago. 50mpg on the trip. Got a souvenir left, too.

Tesla has buyers across the political spectrum. Tesla will likely pick up as many sales from people on one extreme as they loose from people on the other.

That's one way to get past the market saturation problem that you tend to have when selling to a niche market. Given the assumption that there are only a certain number of people who want to buy an esoteric $60,000 car, you can make your current customers angry with Musk shenanigans and pick up a bunch of rich conservatives as a new market segment.

I'll second that. While I am a conservationist, I'm also a realist. And that means ICE and hybrids are NOT going away any time soon.

I don't agree with you on many things Tesla though...haha. (y)
