Free if you have a smartphone and an OBD2 reader that can talk to that smartphone. A compatible reader isn't very expensive though, there is a list on the Dr. Prius web site.
Apparently MSRP just went down dealer-wide to $1,950 and most places have it on additional sales after that, my local dealer being the cheapest at $1625. For anyone looking to get one now is the time!
Not when compared to parting with 100+ at a dealer for a 'diagnostic'. Please share a link with us. Could be for either / both offerings. Thank you!
Here's the one from my dealer. The best part is they are willing to ship unlike most! https://partsbarn.westsidetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-battery-g951047031?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9YmF0dGVyeSZsPTEmbj1TZWFyY2ggUmVzdWx0cyZhPXRveW90YSZvPXByaXVzJnk9MjAwOCZ0PXRvdXJpbmcmZT0xLTVsLWw0LWVsZWN0cmljLWdhcw%3D%3D
happy to hear prices are back down from 3300. i like to keep tabs as my original hybrid battery could throw codes any day
Amazing, never heard of a dealer shipping before. Please let us know if you take delivery, and the total fees for shipping Not discontinued, just slower to deliver. My parts jockey has been selling a bunch for their dealer installs, and I could buy OTC as well.
i figured, but we've been having a big argument over here: toyota-hybrid-battery-no-longer-available-coud-be-permanent.235617
I was able to order for pickup for free. Shipping starts at $350 to get it in a few weeks and goes up from there. I was told that they are currently back-ordered and I was number 12 of only 14 people that are getting them anytime soon. I was also told dealers will hoard them when the price drops just so they have them in stock (I'm assuming he meant dealerships other than Toyota).
