    Hi All,

If i need just retorque my nuts on all positive and negative modules. If i leave the battery in the car connected but remove the orange safety,

Is that good enough to be safe? Or do i need to disconnect it from the car too?

If you're putting your hands and tools on the battery module terminals, disconnecting it from the car with the safety plug is only going to make sure the negative side of the battery is not connected to the car's frame. You'll still need to use lots of caution to avoid touching more than one terminal at a time. Once they are all connected by the bus bars, there's over 200V difference from end to end.

Others with experience in rebuilding batteries will hopefully be along soon with more detail.
