Hello i have a MFD that started to just reboot and most of the time just turn off i had bought one on Ebay for about 200 dollars but it seems that that one also doesnt work as it doesnt display any information about my battery and my MPG its just the consumption screen and is missing all the numbers so i will be returning it ive heard so much about autobeyours is it a trustworthy service?
When you buy one, you have to buy the exact same model number. There apparently are many variations. When you get yours repaired that is guaranteed to be the right model.
I recently got my multifunction display fixed from Autobeyours. You have to take out the unit yourself and ship it to them, then drive the car without it until it’s sent back. The whole process took about 2 weeks for me and cost $299. It’s a good idea to send it in via a method that includes tracking, so you know to check e-mail for an invoice. If you don’t get the invoice within a day, just send an e-mail and they’ll get it to you.
i mean i haven't read any complaints up until now, only compliments. tomorrow? idk. that's all you can go by
The thread title wording and the following post are a bit ambiguous and potentially misleading. The OP seemingly doesn’t have a complaint about AutoBeYours, just the eBay seller.
Yes, approximately 2 weeks after I sent the display in, I got it back. It’s been in my car and working great ever since.
I got mine back from them earlier this week. The FMD is fixed and I have no complaints about their service. Their website looks straight out of the 1990s, but it has the info you need. Before I sent mine in blindly, I sent them an email asking if they were still offering the repair service. They replied the next day and I sent mine in. They mention double boxing on their website. I didn't quite understand what they meant until I saw how they boxed it for return shipping. The MFD fits inside the USPS medium sized box with enough room for maybe one wrap of padding. Then that box goes into the large sized USPS box with enough padding to make it a snug fit. I knew what double boxing was but I didn't realize it would fit in the medium box.
My family, friends and I have purchased 9 vehicles from them over the years starting in 2008. All have been excellent. I would give them the highest possible recommendation.
You should get an invoice via e-mail as soon as they get it. After you pay them, they will send you another e-mail with tracking information when they send it back. If you have not gotten the invoice, then you should e-mail them right away so that gets sent. They won’t send the display back to you until you pay them. If you have already paid the invoice, you should get the e-mail saying they are sending it back within 3 days.
I would e-mail them again to follow up. Also, make sure you’re e-mailing to the right person. I had a good response e-mailing Steve Woodruff.
his email is steve@autobeyourscom correct cause i had email that one yesterday and emailed the one on the site couple days ago no response
