I have a 2012 prius plug-in. The EV Line has stopped working. It's not the car, because it'll charge up at a local charge port.
I thought the warranty on the battery went to 150,000 miles, but on research today, it only goes to 100,000, and I am at 127,000. Plus it's over 10 years old now.
Can these plugs be fixed?? If I push it in and lift up a little, it will start charging, but it won't stay there.
What have other people done for this?

    welcome!

your best bet is to buy a new one. they are fairly cheap on ebay and amazon.

you probably have a loose pin that is not making connection unless you push it up. can it be repaired? maybe, but they're only rated for ten years or so.

the cheapest you can find is fine, i'd want u/l listed or canadian authorization (ce i think). idk why the link is only this letter > s

something like this is great, if you have or want to add a 240v outlet for faster charging.

you just need an adapter to plug into 120v.
