at 1:04, he says 'fuel cost per mile', and it is written on his white board.
does the dept. of energy really say it cost 45 cents per mile to fuel an ev? even at 24 cents/kwh, i'm only paying one dollar for 14 miles, or about 7 cents/mile.

'fuel cost per mile' sounds more like 'total cost per mile' including purchase price.

let me work it the other way. if i had a gasser cuv getting 25 mpg, at 5 dollars per gallon, it would cost me 20 cents per mile.

 

btw, she drives a bolt, which starts ar $28,000.

 

yeah, that's the issue. a lot of bar rooms have it on all the time
