Replacing the gas tank and sender is almost 2000. Is their another way to figure out your gas left in tank?
Welcome to PriusChat!! Swapping a gas tank isn't rocket science, and doesn't cost that much. Call normal mechanics for estimates, as used gas tanks are cheap. Not sure which part of Florida you're near, but call for prices from Tampa Hybrids, and or Autobeyours in FL. You could assume 30 or more MPG, and 7 gallons of space in the the gas bladder, then refill every 210 miles, until you know otherwise. FYI : you're moderated until you've posted 5 times.
drive until it runs oog, then add 3 gallons with a can. then fill up as much as possible. track your miles and average mpg and fill up when down to 2 gallons
