I have a cable with a blue sensor? On the end of it between the body and inner fender well on the driver's side of my 2010 Prius. What is it's purpose? My ABS light is on with the Trac light.
    Thanks

I don't think that is a sensor. Did you find it loose like that, or did you move it from its normal location to take that picture?

As far as identifying what it is, it would be more helpful if you could report the number of wires at that connector and their individual colors (they are mostly covered in black overwrap, but you should be able to see the wire colors right where they go into the connector).

It might not have anything to do with why your ABS and VSC lights are on. The more direct way to find out why those are on would be to put a short jumper wire between the Tc and CG terminals at the car's diagnostic port, turn the car on, and count the blinks of the dash lights. You can search for threads on this forum with more details on that. Once you have those codes, you can post them here.

The driver side inner fender fell off while driving. This unit was just hanging down. It looks like it might have been attached to the body of the car. There is a piece of blue plastic still attached to the car. I zip tied the unit to the car and drove it and the lights are off! I'll take a look at the wires going to the unit.
    Thanks

There is a white and a red wire going to the unit.

If the white wire has a black stripe, I think you have found the wireless door lock buzzer.

It's not related to why your ABS and VSC lights were on. If those come back, just read the trouble codes and post them here.

There is no stripe on the wire, just red and a white wire. The blue module in photo looks to have been attached to the car body and got knocked off when inner liner fell off. Could the blue module be the buzzer?

The stripe might be hard to see. White with a black stripe is a common Toyota color code for ground wires.
