Just received and installed the Visual Garage Shark Fin Antenna. This item took 1 month from order to me receiving. There is absolutely no customer service, I just wanted an update on my order as I was excited for it to come. So aside from that annoyance for a color matched antenna I am thrilled, was super easy to install and my stereo still has great signal from my favorite stations and I live in the woods of Virginia.

I spent about 30 mins adjusting and making sure the antenna fit properly and that the cable that connects to the base wouldn't put pressure to turn the antenna once it was installed. I am happy with the results and would recommend for the price and quality. $90 isn't cheap but paint quality is good. That looks soooo good! I upgrade mine with the s2000 antenna. I might have to this mod!

I also orderd the mudflaps from Priuschat and it's still in the post office since the beginning of the month. So glad you mentioned the slow shipping lol.

Looks great! Thinking of getting one of these as well. Did you ever consider the Beat-Sonic shark fin antenna? It's more expensive - anyone think it's worth the extra $30?

Lower profile? Less chance getting struck by lightning? :)

If you have to rely on that, you are in the wrong place

My husband found this Chinese knock-off to be an almost direct copy of the Visual Garage.

Possbay Shark Fin Antenna Car Antenna AM FM Radio Signal Aerial Adhesive Tape Base Super Functional Silver

He bought the Visual Garage and returned it, because the paint job was bad and flaking off.

The Chinese knock-off has performed well since 2016 with no paint flaking.

My 10 year old Visual Garage one on my 2012 Prius v is still just fine, however, with no flaking paint. I guess it who and how the
    antenna is or was painted.
