    Yikes, the lightning hit antenna as it just blew apart. I'm sure the rest of the car is toast as it looks like it exited the both passenger wheel hubs. Was reading the text of that from Jalopnik and someone said his friend was the one who got nailed and the car died and they are still going through it trying to ID all the damage.

    Ah nothing like 1.21 jiggawatts!!!! :ROFLMAO: Back to the future with a new car.

    @TMR-JWAP in this version of it you can see that the lightning traveled through the front of the car that was barely moving and that's what the lights are under the car. The wind blowing created a different impression in your snapshot-based post.

    Pretty sure the SOS button no longer worked

    Apparently mother nature isn't too particular about the damage it causes any car hit by lightning. I decided to read up on other incidents with gassers and in one instance a mechanic reported it bricked the engine and tranny and fused all the wheel bearings in the front axel :eek:

    I bet removing those wheel bearings was a little bit difficult... Lol...
