Hi few months back I had a clicking I'm my driver side cv axle at low speeds and while turning. Thanks to this website I was able to determine it the axle. I did an oil change today and saw transmission fluid on the plastic under cover and on my cat shield.

I bought a replacement cv axle from oriellys autoparts along with oil seal. I destroyed the factory oil seal while removing the cv axle. The current oil seal I have is leaking and I am looking for a replacement oil seal

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good oil seal. I went to the dealership and the sold me the wrong sized oil seal. Any part numbers on the oil seal, should I use a different cv axle. Any suggestions and would be appreciated. Thank for your time.

if you got the seal at a dealership, it should be the correct number. They usually need your VIN number to determine the correct part number.

I just looked at the receipt from the dealership, oil seal number 90311-50045, they gave me 90311-50005. For the nut they gave me 90080-17238 it didn't fit my axle either, so I used the old one. I thought I was a few months back but I did this back in Oct 29th.
Thank you for your input I'll update with out come. Hopefully they will correct the problem even though it's been 5 months.
