Yes. I seem to be traveling the wrong way when the sun is out. The sun is always in my eyes and cooking the side of my face.
Doing the EGR cooler and cleaning the intake system not sure what this part is or where it goes any ideas? Thanks Stu
New for the 4th time around. Have had a 2010, 2014, 21 prime, and now 22 prime limited. Arrived Sunday and went right to get paint protection film installed. Picked it up today ... tiny getting installed this weekend
I got the large grille - bumper - hood - fender - mirror kit for my 2014 PiPlugin Blizzard Pearl here InvisibleMask - Paint Protection For Your Car and installed it myself. It's great stuff. The mirrors took as long to install as all the other parts combined. spray - stretch - squeegee - pullup - spray - stretch some more - squeegee some more - etc etc etc.
Hi all! Just bought my, new to me, 2017 Prius Prime almost a month ago now. Absolutely loving it so far! Coming from a Jeep Gladiator I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but I don’t think I’ll be looking back anytime soon, this little thing is awesome!
I've been a member of this forum for a few years. My first Hybrid was a 2013 Prius V. But I ended trading it in at 136,000+ miles. I didn't have anything wrong with it. But my needs changed, I ended up becoming single for a while and I no longer needed a huge car. So I traded it in for a sportier smaller Scion iM which was an amazing car but then again, my needs changed as now I'm with someone and we have a daughter together and the iM was a little to small to haul myself, my girlfriend and the little one around, plus weekend getaways, groceries, packing strollers and diaper bags, hauling home store supplies and so on. The nail in the coffin was I was in Boston one night attending an AEW show and it was fresh after a Northeaster. Streets were still wet and slippery and as I was crossing the train tracks over an intersection, my car got stuck on the tracks and I had to rock the car back and forth to get unstuck. A month passed after that incident and I was car shopping for an AWD car/SUV and I saw an AWD 2019 Prius XLE at my local Toyota dealer. I scheduled a test drive and I was almost won over until upon walking in and I saw a 2018 RAV4 Hybrid with an elderly couple getting out of it. Turns out the car was fresh off a lease and the car had all its service records at that dealership. The car was already certified, So I asked about it and took it for a test drive. The dealer gave me the keys and told me go for a drive around the area and come back to them and let them know what I decided on. Between the ground clearance, the interior room feeling more spread out compared to the Prius, the cargo room, and having more room to load up my toddler in the back without having to bend or hunch over. I ended up driving way with the Rav4 a day later after they detailed it and here I am almost 6 months later and I've made a crap ton of mods to it to give it my own personal flare as I am a lover of hot hatches and sporty looking cars. Still happy with my purchase however I still have a wicked soft spot for the Prius and still second guess if I should've went with the Prius. The only faults I found with the Prius was that it had a few starches on the rear bumper, had an indent in the rear of the head liner which looked like it was caused by a large furniture item and leather seats. I cannot stand leather seats, lol.
I just purchased a 2004 Prius 2. It has 136,000 all original miles. The pros: 3rd owner. Two previous owner went to Toyota for service. Has been recently passed full service inspection by Toyota. Interior and exterior in great shape no signs of bad wear and tare for a work car. Price was $3,100 The negatives: Cat was cut out. Need replaced. $130ish ABS Actuator is failing. Running every 15 seconds. ( I found a used abs actautor pulled for $240ish) I will replace this myself. Youtube videos look like it isn't that bad of a job. No radio How did I do? It is my first Prius and I am using it as a work car/weekend trip car. I hope for $800 I can get this baby on the road.
Congratulations. Looks great. Radio shouldn’t be an issue. Since your 2 doesn’t have the JBL wiring, most 2 din units will work plug n play (pun intended). I fitted an adapter like this. And installed a single DIN Panasonic. https://www.truegether.com/listing.html?id=USER.37d1011f-1d4b-4e43-bf60-89d8f1da6f82
