So I had the P0A80 code come on, and after checking that the 12v required replacement, went on to replace it. This immediately fixed the problem, and everything went back to normal. 2 weeks of regular driving later, the code is back, and I am stumped. I checked the connections on the battery, and everything was secure. Any ideas about the cause?

Changing the 12 volt battery didn't fix anything. While you had the old battery out, the computer in the car lost its memory of the trouble code. Then you didn't see the code for a while until the computer had time to figure out again what it knew before about the condition of the traction battery.
