Always browsed the forums but never made an account. Finally wanted to ask some questions of my own, so here I am.
Welcome, and prepare to be amazed and astounded by the amount of information available about the amazing Prius ( and lots of other things too!) People here are generally friendly and willing to help you, and then there are a few miserable old curmudgeons (…like what I am!) who would just as soon tell you to "…bugger off!" and "…GET OFF MY LAWN!"
Not sure why It thought of this, I may have seen a Prime today. But, does anyone else agree that a ski/roof rack looks really good on the Prime? It like, fills it out or something? I wonder if anyone has any used ones for sale.
I have never really seen anyone selling used Toyota roof racks, I guess people generally hang on to them. I agree though, I think the car looks decent with one. I am not a big outdoorsy type of person who skis or kayaks (or other big equipment), etc, but I do like long distance travelling and bringing cargo, and was thinking of getting a roof rack when I eventually get a Prime (probably wait until the 2023 redesign), so I can throw a roof box on there when needed. It's actually kind of crazy how critics tend to complain about the reduced cargo capacity in the PP as a major issue (compared to the regular Prius), yet it is a problem with such a simple solution... Simply invest in a roof box that can be attached the odd time that 20 cu ft is not enough (which incidentally, is still considerably more than many comparable sedans, such as the Camry (15 cu ft) and Corolla (13 cu ft)... those are NON hybrids). PP just gets a bad rap because the rear deck is raised and it "looks" small. But I digress...

Not yet, never named any of my cars before, I think it’s the utilitarian in me, just calls them what they are.
I have joined the Prius world. Just picked this one up. Its been a nice car. It about an 80 mile round trip for me daily so its been pretty comfortable.
Welcome! Have fun with all of us Prius fanatics! Just about every question you have about your car can be answered in here.
WAY late to the party, but here you go: My beautiful 2022 Prius LE baby. First time Prius owner, inspired by my parents who still own third generation Priuses. I had a 2009 Honda Fit Sport since it was brand new, but I'm totally BLOWN AWAY by the features of my new Prius! I felt like I was cannon-balled into the future. Yeah, I was under the proverbial rock. Sue me.
Just another happy prius driver! Spent the best 7 years together with my prius and kept her well maintained!
Looks great! Can't wait to get mine in March. Dp you plan to tint the windows? That's one of the first things I want to do to make it truly nightshade!
