VPNS 2011 Prius?

What exactly is a VPNS ??

i'm thinking there's a lot to it, under the dash and an ecu, but idk for sure.
i do know when people try disconnecting it, they get a warning message

 

i would wire a simple noise maker in the engine bay to a sitch on the dash

 

or you could toot your horn

 

Extra long curb alarms could work well to... Especially the ones on springs, like the ones they use as doorstops. Those would sound awesome if another car got too close.
