I don’t have any faith in “burns itself out” short of an extinction of the virus or the virus host. This is an existential challenge.

We have to use our clever brains and fight like h*ll. Kinda rough when 1/3d of our population remains in denial.

i read about the new vax last night. it sounds pretty good, and they are already deploying it in india.

i don't understand why the cdc and fda aren't taking a hard look at them. not big pharma?

they said it is a quick ramp up to manufacturing and disbursement around the world, and only a dollar fifty a shot.
the downside is that it will take more time than mrna to adjust for variants.

 

i'm starting to agree with the scientists who feel omicron is going to get everyone eventually, and the best we can hope for is that the vax helps with severity, and we can prepare for the next variant in time.

 

not much talk about the new vaccine, but a bunch of talk about political opinions.

 

Haven't spent the 6 minutes myself, but that's more or less what I expect any time I see a teaser worded that way.

 

Yes, it is promising and a possible game changer for 3rd world countries. It is vegan based and cheap as well as developed privately by a Texas Research Group. Innovative, cheap, effective and purposely not patented so the whole world community can take advantage of it.

Third World countries are in dire need of vaccines and they know that just like smallpox this is currently the only real answer to combat the continuing rounds of death and upheaval Covid is causing

1. Vaccine(s) - very likely more updates over time
2. Public Health Service screening and metrics - to identify early specific bug(s)
3. Better social discipline including masks and sanitation
4. Improved treatment protocols for the infected

yes, the no patent thing really caught my eye. these research scientist/docs have been studying/developing vaccines for underfunded diseases for years. they have really dedicated their lives to humanity.

 

In the video you get to meet the two medical researchers who developed the vaccine, hear their selfless motivation as well as hear about a couple of the other vaccines they developed for humanity that are widely distributed to 3rd world countries to improve their survival odds against some truly horrible diseases.
