Merry Christmas PriusChat! Have a wonderful holiday. 2015 looks to be exciting for the Prius (assuming no more delays!)
My favorite Christmas verses are not from Luke or any of the other Gospels. They come from Paul's letter to the Philippians and are not commonly associated with the birth of the Christ child. I do associate them. Philippians 2:4-11 (ESV) Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. All the best to you and yours. Merry Christmas!!
I meant to wish everyone a Merry Christmas a few days ago but got busy as our two daughters and sons-in-laws and five granddaughters all came over for Christmas...so very busy! What a wonderful day yesterday! Still the greatest miracle in all of history....God Himself became human....Emanual "God with us"...King of the Jews yet born in a humble stable in an unknown little town called Bethlehem! 100% God yet 100% man...it's no wonder the holy angels all had to come and see how an unmeasurable, all-powerful, mighty God could fit inside a little Hebrew baby! John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
