Clean numbers are hard to find because the US media is channeling the CCP in curiosity and fact checking.

However (comma!!) you can forget your past but the past doesn’t forget YOU.
Pediatric influenza deaths in the US seem to be in the 100-200 dead kids-per range for the ‘long ago’ (2000-2019)
The numbers after 2020 are politicized and they’re probably influenced by lockdowns and social distancing.

US pediatric Covid deaths are completely impossible to accurately assess, and I would submit that perhaps data from other nations (UK, Israel, etc) might be illuminating.

    Media has already weighed in….
VERIFY: COVID-19 has caused more pediatric deaths than the flu in the last 18 months | khou.com

    good point!
it's too bad, because i had recently read that scientists had found that the virus particles in the mouths and nasal passages of vaccinated individuals with breakthrough cases were enveloped in antibodies, and thus less likely to be infectious.

Wasn't the common cold the Corona virus, before it was weaponized ?

Some of the many viruses that cause colds are—other—coronaviruses.

I think mushrooms are tasty. I don't eat every one I see though. Doesn't mean anybody weaponized them.

"The" coronavirus? There are at least a couple hundred different coronaviruses, afflicting various mammals. More are being identified on a regular basis. Just 7 are known to afflict humans.

Of those, 4 cause common colds (specific varieties listed in my posts early last year), but these account for only about 20% of common colds. Various rhinoviruses cause a greater portion of colds, and a myriad of other things cause the rest.

Then add in the 'weaponized' or nasty coronaviruses: SARS (appeared in 2002, contained, last seen in 2004), MERS (appeared in 2012, also known as 'camel flu'), and Covid-19 (appeared in 2019).

More likely they'll just become reservoir for the virus to lurk and mutate in before reinfecting people, like the hantavirus and rodents.

I'm a self-loathing mostly herbivore, and I drive adult-sized vehicles so I'll continue to root for both sides.

At least hantavirus doesn't commonly transmit from human to human.
And on the people who put out and maintain deer feeding stations, more commonly known as "gardens".

A little South and East of you they call those 'food plots.
Sometimes, in some fields, other gardeners who like backstrap meat will put out some 'green fertilizer' to serve two purposes.

Of course....SOME states manage their deer populations with rifles instead of cars.

I only shoot paper and AR500 these days, so.... :D
