So, my Toyota Prius C 2014 (Not shown, but it's the same model/color, well, it doesn't have the roof thing) has a squealing noise from the spot shown when I get home from work after I park the car and turn it off. It sounds like a belt? to me, but these have chains rather than belts? I tried to record the sound but a cricket was really loud so I went and stomped by the cricket, so just skip to 33 seconds or so. The recording is apparently kind of terrible but If you turn up the volume for the last part maybe you'll be able to hear it? I set the phone down on the hood of the car so I'm surprised it's not better.

The clunking is me setting down the phone/walking.

I don't think it makes the sound in the morning, only after driving home in the afternoon, I wonder if maybe sitting out in the sun heats something up which makes a difference.

May you please provide a video with a better audio, some visuals could help too. I could not hear anything in that audio file you shared

    You using the AC-Air Conditioner?

If so, it might be what is making the noise, gargling, pressure relieving wonky noise.
    That would be considered normal.

One way to test is to drive without using the AC and see what happens.

Sorry your audio recording has not audio

    Suggestion from Mr. Obvious:
Have you opened the hood when it's doing that to get a better idea of what is causing it ?
    If not, maybe you should.

That does seem a likely culprit since it always happens in the afternoon after it's been sitting in the sun when it's hot. I guess I'll need to ride home without air conditioning on. If it's not that my other thought is that it's maybe the engine cooling system?

I did, and I really thought it was a belt due to where the sound seemed to come from, but then I did research and realized it couldn't be that since belts aren't really a thing.

You could have AC on, but a few minutes before arriving home, you can turn off AC (hit button) and then
just make sure the re circulation light is still on. Probably have to hit that recirc button since I normally do.
    Keep the air/blower on still.

I do this almost every time when using AC to "clean" out the system and not let condensation build up to cause mold.
Moldy stench and foul odor are common among prius and vehicles in general.

That will also allow the pressure/temp differences occur and settle by time you get home and parked.
Might have a slight bubbles sound less frequently then just turning off car when AC is still on.
