Yeah, my 10-hour drive was 5 hours one-way non-stop. But the round trip in a single day only with ~1 hour of a break at the destination. I did this trip many times in my 2017 PP but did not have a problem. But, the 2021 PP with TSS2.0 full range DRCC and LTA and Ltd feature BSM made interstate driving so much easier for sure.

Well, it is not the back problem. It was just my butt that got sore due to sitting on a hard surface. I did the same trip a few months ago on our PathHy and never felt that pain.

Many people don't understand the wide range of adjustment for the driver seats. If you don't adjust it correctly, the pressure points can be painful after a long drive. My 2002 Prius never gave me a problem. My wife's 2010 Camry is a butt killer if I don't adjust it correctly. My 2021 Prime Advanced has felt good every time I drive it, and I'm currently making four 500 mile drives per month.

I'd recommend trying to readjust it to keep your legs, hips and back from being in painful positions.

I sometimes get back tweak on longer drives, but readjustments and the lumbar support do help.

I don't think adjustments were the problem. The fact that the second 500+ miles trip I just did with the DR.Flink Memory Foam Tailbone Pillow did not give me sore butt tells me it is the firmness of the seat cushion that was causing the pain and numbness. As I said, I did not have any problem with my previous 2017 PP premium with softex seats. The only difference is that I am now covering it with the mesh seat cover I commented on the #33. I guess, it is possible that the extra layer of the seat cover material and the antiskid pad are making the seating surface harder than without, but I am strongly suspecting the material change inside of the seat from the 2017 PP.

There are a lot of sites with advice about ergonomics, but this one covers the basics as they were explained to me. The phone company brought in an expert on the subject when our motor-pool switched to little econoboxes after the 1970 gas shortages. People who were driving a lot were encountering a lot of lower back and butt pain.

The point that many guys miss is that the wallet in the pocket can cause you to shift your weight so that pressure is concentrated in one spot, and that gets painful after a while.

I did play with seat adjustments a couple times on this vacation we just finished. In contrast, my PiP didn't have a power seat and it would set my tailbone on fire. It was worse than the Gen 2.
