Prius 2011 steering little tight

    steering wheel on 2011 toyota prius is little hard to rotate these days. I have checked all tyres and they are all fine. Does anyone know why it's getting tight?

    jack up the front end and see how it is. maybe the motor is going out, or a circuit is failing

    If they do, is it expensive to fix? Also another dumb question, what is it that I should look for?

    if it is easy and smooth off the ground, then the problem is in the suspension or wheels/tires

    a mech can install salvage parts reasonably, but a dealer would be expensive
