can you post a recording of the clicks, clunks and clinks? and try to repost the trouble code pics

also, put a kleenex over the intake grille to make sure the fan is operating

The intake grille under the hood? Like the radiator? Or is there another one somewhere?

This time it did it as soon as I started the car even after it has been sitting for over an hour which is a first. Not sure how to upload a video from my IPhone. Only lets me upload pictures it looks like.

that last clunk sounded bad, but no idea what causes it.there's a parking pawl that gets engaged in the tranny when you press park or power off

I think the "Media" section on PriusChat allows uploading a video ... at least it has a tab for uploading video, and says it accepts the extension avi, m4v, mov, mp4, ogg, webm, wmv.

Tried limping it to town to get the codes read and on the way there as I was making a turn the red "brake" light came on and starting beeping. It did this one other time very quickly as I was stopped on a step incline while I was just driving it around the block earlier today also. And that is how it feels when driving it...as if there is a parking brake or something on dragging the car. It gets that smell after a few miles too.

Odd thing is I stopped and turn the car off for about 30 seconds after it did it and it drove the rest of the way to town (about 6 miles or so) normally with no issues (except the red triangle still being on of course) so could it be an electric parking module or transmission issue and not a battery issue?

Any time that happens, I recommend getting the brake trouble codes right then and there using the blink method. There are times when you don't really want to drive to a shop just because they might have a nicer code scanner.

maybe a stuck brake caliper, or parking brake. are any of the wheels hot after driving?

    did you get the codes?

These are the codes I for from Oreilly's. Of course I wasn't having all the problems when I got there. The only warning light on at the time was the red triangle, but these are what I got.
