Now that some of us are returning to work. I was excited to start using the charging station at work that is FREE. It's a blink charging station and the plug fits perfectly fine except for that it doesn't actually charge the car... indicator on the blink system says it's plugged in and prime dashboard shows charging door open and that's about it.. am i doing something wrong?
Are you sure you have the Prime set to “Charge Now”? The green LED on the charge port should be solid green when you plug in. If it blinks you have an active charge schedule.
Probably need an account or an app. Nothing is free. Or consider it this way, if it’s “free” then the product is YOU.
i do have the card / code to active. it's "free" for office tenants of the building and pay for a parking spot. ive seen tesla being charged there and just want to join the club for charging
You are not the OP, how would you know it is not free to him/her? I get charged free at work, yes 100% completely free!!! Stop lecturing for things you are unsure.
Some of the charge connectors need an extra shove to get them completely into the car's receptacle. This one might need that extra push--wipe it clean first if there is any dirt on the outside of the cylinder. You should see the green LED at the car's charge receptacle as well as any indicator on the power supply, and the blue LEDs on the car's dash.
