What was your error??? I'm trying to use the Prolong charger, and mine displays ZERO for amperage. Please post what happened for me and others
Probably hooked to the car side of the relay not the battery side. Whatever you do make sure you take the orange safety switch out before removing the battery cover and working on the battery.
So sorry for the delay! It turned out I had mistakenly reversed the polarity of the terminals on the battery - my fault entirely. It messed up the power board in the charger, so I had to buy and install a replacement after correcting the polarity.
