I'm wondering if anybody can tell me if they have ever used NGK RUTHENIUM HX spark plugs? or should I go with the NGK iridium laser 4996? 2008 Toyota Prius with 245,000 MI. Your advice would be greatly appreciated just trying to do some maintenance. Thank you Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I have used the DENSO SK16R11 (DENSO 3324) in all the Gen 2 Prii I've worked on. They are the OEM installed iridium plugs and have been flawless. $5.66 each at Rock Auto 2007 TOYOTA PRIUS 1.5L L4 ELECTRIC/GAS Spark Plug | RockAuto
I am using a new set of plugs from Pulstar.com They are plasma iridium and are good. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

Nothing wrong with getting the same OEM plugs from someone other than a dealer to get a better price. Getting a different WAY cheaper plug might be a different story though.
