Screen glare is a common issue with prius radios. It was definitely an issue for me in my 2013 V. I noticed that the current radio shade options... well, they block your CD player, and some of them make it awkward to use the side buttons. I guess I'm a prehistoric man, because I use the CD player every time I drive. So I designed my own radio shade. I 3D printed it. I tweaked the design. Then I started selling it. But 3D printing is a slow process- it takes about 4 hours to print one. Plus, the prints don't always come out looking super nice. And don't get me started on the pains of bed levelling and other 3D printer troubleshooting. So I took a leap of faith and found a company to manufacture them for me. The shade itself is made in USA using US produced materials. I have these up for sale on Amazon. Only available in the USA. I haven't worked out the finer points of international ecommerce.
