The whole 'OTD' thing is weird to me - wouldn't we want to compare pricing before fees and taxes, since those are so variable throughout the country and due to potential trade ins?

Nice! Can you share the breakdown? I'm going to try for something close. How are you getting it home? I'm in NJ but like you said, it's worth the trip.

So your saying you received $5000 off just from the dealer or are you including the $4502 tax credit in that figure? $5000 off just from the dealer would be the biggest money loser I have ever heard off.........................................

Guys I didn't know where to post this. However this is the greatest deal ever. Just picked her up a few days ago from Miguel Cervantes - Culver City Toyota

I got mine (2021 LE) $495 WIND CHILL PEARL for 22,107 PLUS T@L this INCLUDES 900 clean fleet rebate from dealer, 4500 factory rebate, and about 2,000 off dealer msrp.

ALSO 3,500 air resource rebate (STATE CHECK) in about 6-8 weeks if you make less then 75k, more then 75k just 1,000 (single filer). Plus 4500 Federal tax liability rebate.

18,607 plus T&L IS A STUPID DEAL!! I called every dealer and combed through every reliable site to find this deal. Only autonation Toyota was close. They were $400 more. Sale ended today or tomorrow. Rebate ends april 6th.

I traded in my 2010 Prius and she was getting about 44mpg avg (NOT INCULDED IN ABOVE PRICES). Right now I'm getting a astounding 70-80 MPG OVER 200 MILES A DAY with just ONE CHARGE!!!

Please note to get all that, you need to bring your own financing like capital one financing (auto navigator or credit union) I don't know what the new rebates will be but 18,607 plus T@L and 4500 off my taxes, ya sure sign me up

can you provide the details for the “3,500 air resource rebate (STATE CHECK) in about 6-8 weeks if you make less then 75k, more then 75k just 1,000 (single filer).” Does this work for only specify counties in SoCal? Do you have to pre-qualify before your purchase?

Yap, if you want to compare the different prices in different deals then the best way is to only compare the sales price before tax, fees, and trade-in or downpayment. In fact, if purchasing out of state, some state or local incentives should not be included in the comparison. The trade-in is a potential big bait and trap. A dealer may give a buyer a great deal on the sales price of a new car with a big discount, but they may lower the trade-in value to recoup the loss there.

They gave me 4,000 for a 2010 Prius with almost 180,000 miles. Had a small oil leak and main reaction battery was starting to go out. It was a no brainer. Might I add that I used to sale cars ,so I know what to look for. This is the best deal if you live in La County period! Trust me. Tim

Thanks, but I live in New England. Here in the NE region, PP LE goes for ~$18K after all the discounts and incentives are applied. This price is without much effort. I don't need a car right now, but if I go back to daily commuting later this year, I will be back in the market.

So like I said before. $22,107 plus T@L DOC. Take another 3500 for air resource check plus another 4500 if you qualify for full Fed liability credit. 14,107 plus T@L Doc fee approx 2,840.

Can you explain how you get it at the price?? It's still not cheaper then mine per say but pretty good considering east coast. Might I add I'm commuting a little over 200 miles a day. Average about 75mpg... SOLD

It's about the same price as your deal, witout the $3500 air resource check we don't have. Yeah, your deal is great.
In North East, the price of PP has been almost always $8~$10K off the MSRP with Toyota rebates, dealer discount, and fed tax credit since 2017. There may be a few more $K savings buyer can qualify with other incentives including local or state or Uber and Newly Grad offer.

Yup. This is true except I didn't qualify for anything else. Trust me I double checked. This is my 4th prius. Had 2008, then a 2010. Traded the 08 for my 2020 limited that wife drives and then my new 2020 prime I traded from my 2010 Prius. I LOVE PRIUS!
