Got the HV battery out to recondition it ...but... 14 Nuts will not come loose from the battery modules....
Tried 3 sockets and even ground down one to make it fit better but no go...
Tried vise grips, and unfreezing liquid spray, etc....
    Any suggestions ???

Yes, I would take that as yet another (14) sign(s) it's time for a new battery.

A "light duty" impact tool might help a lot.
Giving it a few shots in BOTH directions will often break them loose.

There is a "nut breaker" device that can be quite useful but not in a tight space like the picture shows.

Option 1: use a small cut off wheel on a dremel tool to slice away part of the nut then use vice grips to break what's left.
Option 2: replace the battery- get a used pack and recondition that

14 nuts on a 2013 HV battery will not come loose? Is this a previously repaired/worked on battery?

Yes, it was taken apart as to nuts and the bars, cleaned and greased. Dr prius suggested replacement of a few modules but we want to cycle them first to see the real capacity of each. the voltage is btw 7.8 and 7.85 for each at this time....
Broke one socket tool set from HomeDepot and now ready to try the one from AutoZone.... Lastly will cut a crease in the nut....
