Should I get rid of my Prius C for a regular Prius or Corolla?

"Which car to buy" is an emotional decision, and the wireless Prius and the Corolla are basically the same car.....that being a 4.5 pax, FWD, somewhat questionably styled, lower-middle shelf transportation appliance.
The Prius will cost more up front (mid 20s versus low 20s) but will be worth a little more on the back 9.
You may expect to get some of that up-front money to dribble back in gas savings if you keep the car long enough, and it will be worth a few bucks more when you sell or trade.
You don't seem to keep cars long enough for maintenance costs to be a factor, although eventually the word "cat shield" may be more applicable with Priuses than with Corollas......so I would expect insurance quotes to be a little higher.
ACTUAL mileage will vary.
Base Priuses do not get to flout HOV regs.....and they're a little more....ah......."iconic" than Corollas.

If you "like to drive" you should probably chose "D: None of the above" but the Corolla can be had with a manual transmission and a (*cough!*) "sport-tuned" suspension and this car is also available sans hatch.

Operating only on "sticker prices" and not counting unusual rebates or tax incentives.......
The total cost of ownership should almost always be less with a fuel efficient gas engine than with a hybrid.

So......if total cost is really important, the Corolla wins hands down......usually.
This applies to the used market too for similar year models.

What is "nvm" ?
And expecting instant answers to posts made between 3 and 6 AM isn't very realistic.

Toyota recently added TSS as standard equipment on Corolla and I wanted to hear about the safety differences between the Prius/Prime models and the new Hybrid Corolla.
