Do you really need to plaster the decals all over the car ? Can't we just have one on the back next to the Lic. plate ? That's where the highway patrol are going to see them anyway. Just saying.
Yes, you need to put them on exactly as instructed. However, never affix them directly on the car, as they will permanently damage the paint. Affix them on paint-protection film first, and then affix the paint-protection film on the car.
Or just trade it in when the sticker expires and make it a next-owner problem. That's kind of the "California Normal" for these anyway.
Yes, I had bought the 25-inch-long version of this (for only 99¢ less). This is even better and could be enough for two sets of stickers. I never got to affix them during the pandemic and traded in the car without the orange stickers affixed and also gave the orange stickers away unaffixed. I'm still waiting for the blue stickers since January 2, 2021.
Has anyone in CA. ever got pulled over and ticketed for having (1), No stickers (2), Stickers in the wrong spot. or (3), having only 1 sticker in the back while in the car pool lane ? I know it's all about " paying for the privilege " but having all those ugly stickers plastered all around your vehicle is ridicules. I'm curios before I start sticking . Thoughts anyone ?
I see people with no stickers and or expired stickers in the carpool lane all day everyday and don’t think they are bothered by the police.
Reality: It's fine until KTLA does a scofflaw segment and then the highway patrol has to do a crackdown. So you're good until Ponch & Jon start setting up chicanes for Operation Stick This. Psst.... have it in the glovebox and be ready to stick on right then and there. 1) to prove you didn't sell the other ones 2) It'll still come off again easily an hour later
Or you can trade it in after the rust destroys your floor boards and undercarriage like the "PENNSYLVANIA NORMAL " ???
