People here say I can get trim level by entering VIN on Toyota site. Attached is the pic of what it returns for my VIN. I don't see any mention of trim?
Here are a few details of the car that might help:
    - fabric seats
    - white centre console where the shifter is

    Thanks!
    Peter

Toyota.com is operated by Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., to provide information about vehicles they distribute in the contiguous U.S. and Alaska. For vehicles sold in Hawaii or the U.S. territories, or in other countries, the information may be incomplete or may not apply at all.

If “Kitchener” in your PriusChat profile is Kitchener, Ontario, and the car was sold by Toyota Canada, that would explain the limited information. Indeed, the marketing names for the grades (trim levels) are different in the U.S. and Canada; the Canadian sales brochure from 2017 (PDF) might help you determine which one you have.

Thanks so much for sharing that PDF, that seems to be enough to distinguish trim level for the Canadian cars I'm looking at.

And congrats on the "new" car. It's quite an improvement over the 2007, isn't it? Don't forget to update your profile once you determine the trim level you have.

Well I haven't bought it yet. Was wanting a higher trim level, and this one seems to be the base one.
My '07 has 360,000 km and still runs quite well so I could still wait for a good deal on higher trim level!
