You have to turn the jack (portion A in the diagram below) to loosen it. After done, place it in the compartment and turn a few time to lock it in place.

We are still learning the hard way.:ROFLMAO:
But I did look it up and check it in the almost 900 page manual and correct my post as soon as I could.
I'm thinking a picture of a jack in the compartment with the words, "looking for this?"

I was thinking when I saw the tool kit, "what good does a lug wrench do me with no jack?":ROFLMAO:

Or what good is a jack without a tire? I guess you could carve one out of wood (MacGyver).

I know! It is for the tow truck or allow you to fix a hole on the bottom.
I am thinking of a flat steel rim with a hard rubber cover to get you to the next exit at 10MPH.

If everyone read their owner's manual, about all we'd have left here is FHOP and the environmental discussions.:ROFLMAO:

Reading may be fundamental but human contact is essential to life as we know it. I have changed since last March and not for the better.

Feel like Logan's run with everyone dead inside the dome.

    Absolutely!!
From lack of human contact? Then restore the contact. Don't remove the essential from your life due to fear. My relationships remain the same other than the precaution of washing more often and wearing masks when appropriate. And I don't go to crowded places, which isn't hard for me since I hate crowds. :)
