I just waxed my 2021 Prius Prime Limited Blue Magnetism with Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine. I tried to apply a second coat with Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax, but it smudged—perhaps because the first coat with the Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine wasn't completely dry? Anyway, Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine works well and is easy to use; so, I will stick with that one. @ClemsonSteve, which one of these do you use? Here are the photos. It is extremely difficult to capture the true tone of the Blue Magnetism; so, I did a lot of manual adjustments of the color temperature, tint, and other settings on my Galaxy S20 Ultra to get the tone right. This is fairly close to the actual tone, but keep in mind that it varies greatly with lighting. At the time the present lighting conditions were shortly before dusk.
I've found a nice website, which has tested waxes. Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine is highly rated. Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax is poorly rated. However, looking at the ratings, it makes me want to use Adam’s Polishes Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating next time. Wax Shootout Results—Dmitry's Garage
Here's what @The Critic used when he waxed our Prime: What did you do to your Prime today? | Page 11 | PriusChat Still looks great when you wash it and the water repels easily .
I think it looks awesome! Great job--the Blue Magnetism just looks super. I use Turtle Wax Ice. But I'm gonna try Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine!
Yeah, Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine is a far better, longer-lasting product than Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax, albeit perhaps a little less glossy. You can get it at Walmart. The ratings I posted above say the former lasts for 21 washes, while the latter lasts for only two washes.
