Use gen 3 cabin filter on gen 4

    Hey so I accidentally ordered gen 3 cabin filters for my gen 4. The only difference is the direction of the pleats, but on the gen 4 there is that tray with a ridge in it that prevents you from installing a filter with pleats that don't match. Is that tray even necessary and does anyone have any thoughts of perhaps just removing the ridge?

    I removed the ridge. No issues that I could find...
