I think this is relevant to only some parts of the world - isn't here.

Yeah, I imagine that number two "don't" has surprised a few people. I know there's at least one thread about the valve because there is also a switch that the fuel door activates when you close the door telling the car to close that valve. In the early Gen 4 (including my '17 Prime) the switch was exposed and in certain states they have huge contraptions on the pump handles that often hit that switch closing the valve just as the user squeezes the trigger on the pump handle. Yikes! Rude awakening #617. Toyota finally when "Doh!" and put a guard on the button so the door would hit the it but not the pump handle encumbrance.

I don't have time to watch the video. Can someone list the things he is claiming "Never to do on Toyota Hybrids"?

Busy reading the owner's manual again?

I skimmed it to see if there was anything I didn't already know. There wasn't. I'll see if I can remember them all. (not necessarily in the original order) It's basics stuff that anyone should know since it's in the manual or just plain common sense. But he does give pretty good explanations.
    1. Don't store large containers of liquid on the back seat (or over the traction battery, wherever it is).
    2. Don't overfill the oil
    3. Don't leave the fuel door open for 30 minutes before filling.
    4. Don't use B mode for everyday driving; only for going down large hills.
    5. Don't jump gassers with the Prius.
    How'd I do? :D

Thanks, Jerry. I no longer own a Toyota hybrid, so I was not so interested in watching 19 min video. Yeah, most of them apply to any cars, except maybe #5.
