I replaced my stock bulbs with these and the output is good in terms of matching my OEM LED Headlights. Now I am trying to find some new housings as mine are faded, hoping to find something with more light output.

OEM style LED or projector fog lights with proper cutoffs are way better than the OEM style halogen reflectors that come stock on some Gen 3s.

I upgraded my fogs to LED's that are built into the fog housing.

Dropping in LED bulbs into a halogen housing is problematic because of potential heat issues and lower output as it is not the native reflection pattern.

The built-in LED fogs have a larger heat sink to avoid using a noisy fan (that can fail) or external power supply plus have a better reflection pattern designed for LED.

Here is a video on the difference at night:

This is the kit I used: LED Fog Lamps & wiring kit (that is for a different car, but can be adapted to fit the Prius): http://ebay.us/V2Y0af (affiliate link)

Mine are very similar to those.

Same here on our Corolla. The Prius has Morimoto type LEDs with a thick lens to focus the output and limit glare, the Camry has projector housings with a physical cutoff shield and halogen bulbs.

Here's what is on the Prius, put a yellow vinyl film on it for better contrast on wet roads.

Have them wired to be On when the Prius is in Ready Mode to act as DRLs. 20180520_113912.jpeg 20180519_154212.jpeg 20200817_155247.jpeg
