I have noticed some Prius’s that drive by have a right side headlight that is noticeably dimmer than the drivers side. Mine is like this when I pull into the garage you can really see the difference in the light pattern. I see other Prius’s going down the road and it seems they suffer the same problem. The lens is clear and I have tried stock replacements, and after market and the right side is not bright enough. Any ideas or fixes?
try a relay harness which gets connected directly to the battery / (but before doing that I would first disconnect/clean/check ALL headlight connections & maybe wiggle the fuses a little bit)
I opened up my headlights and replaced the projectors with Lexus ones when I upgraded to hids and one of the old projectors was all funky inside. Looked like it got too hot and the reflective coating was all peeling. That would definitely cause dim output. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
